I’ve created this site to share my poetry and photography. Thanks for your visit.
I was born on 17th November, 1964 in Willingboro, New Jersey (USA). I grew up in Moorestown, NJ, Thousand Oaks & Agoura Hills, California. I got a BA in Humanities at Cal State Northridge and Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. (POETRY) Poems of mine have been published in print and online journals in the US and abroad. I have self-published four poetry collections via Amazon; three of these with presentation videos you can check out here. (PHOTOGRAPHY) I’ve had several exhibitions in Spain. I tend to work on my lines of discourse when travelling. (POETRY & PHOTOGRAPHY) While I prefer to not mix the genres, for example, attempting to “illustrate” a poem with a photo or juxtapose the two for the sake of some sort of “dialogue”, I do admit they borrow from each other often. Photographic/filmic references make their way into my poetry at times & my way of photographing often seeks a dialogue between juxtaposed elements, akin to many poems. (DAY TO DAY) I’ve been living in Barcelona since 1989. I make a living as an English teacher. I’m married to the Spanish poet and novelist José Ramón Ayllón Guerrero.
